About our cause

Volunteer-based Habitat for Humanity build of a sustainable energy, simple, affordable home for a family in need at 22 Edgewood Lane, Collinsville, IL.

What population we serve?

Our build area is the Unit 10 school district which lies in the southern end of Madison County and northern edge of St Clair County.

What success we've already had

We will complete our 4th home in December 2012. Our Chapter already has donated lots for our 5th and 6th houses. With continued fundraising efforts, we plan to recruit a family for build #5 by Spring 2013.

Our primary mission
Habitat for Humanity's mission is to partner with people in need to provide simple, decent, affordable homes. Our HFH chapter builds sustainable energy homes for local families, who work side-by-side with the volunteers throughout the build.
