Ending Homelessness Together
Atlanta Mission in Atlanta, Georgia by Cameron Turner
Atlanta Mission is the city’s longest-operating and largest ministry serving the homeless. Our four facilities provide programs and services designed to help individuals facing homelessness get back on their feet. The Mission holistically treats each person through addiction recovery programs, literacy and GED classes, job attainment courses, and tutoring and support services designed specifically for children. We strive to end the cycle of homelessness for each person that comes to our door.
Atlanta Mission serves up to 1,000 men, women and children each day that are suffering from homelessness and its underlying causes.
Over the past year, Atlanta Mission has served over 839,000 meals, provided over 318,000 bednights, ended homelessness for 849 people, and assisted 462 people in finding jobs. None of this would be possible without the generous support of the Atlanta community and partners like you!
