Earthy Veggies and Pinot Noir
Fall is here. The kids are firmly into their school routine, holidays are sneaking up on us WAY TOO SOON, and the weekends are full of raking leaves and Instagramming from pumpkin patches.
It’s a wonderful time to visit the farmers’ market for hearty and earthy veggies like squash, mushrooms, bitter greens, parsnips, and carrots. For us, these earthy veggies are perfect with Pinot because they highlight the savory aspects of the wine while still letting the fruit shine through!
