The Cultivate Team

Ali Banks

I grew up a little bit everywhere I had the opportunity to go, and I daydreamed about blending all my favorite people and things from all those places into one big life when I grew up.  Atlanta was a great place to grow up. Beautiful flowers and fabrics, great Christmas parties, and lots and lots of happy memories.  I just hope the people there don’t remember when I sponge-painted my bathroom pink!

Since then, I’ve discovered the magnitude of a great marriage, the limitless capacity for love, and a passion for wine- for me, wine is the glue that brings people together and keeps them around the table longer. I was psyched to help start Cultivate because I believe dreams do come true.  We all do a little bit of everything at Cultivate, but to sum up my role, I’d say it’s not a role, it’s a part of me!

In twenty five years, I hope we have exceeded even my wildest dreams, and that when people talk about Cultivate, they’ll talk about being inspired that it is possible to change the world and have fun doing it!

Charles Banks

I grew up in America, where I daydreamed about sports and girlsAtlanta was a great place to grow up. Good friends, great cheese dip at Jalisco’s and lots and lots of beer.  I just hope the people there don’t remember when I stole a car.

Since then, I’ve discovered true love, parenthood, and a passion for wine- for me, wine is endlessly intellectually fascinating since its never the same twice. I was psyched to help start Cultivate because Ali won me over.  We all do a little bit of everything at Cultivate, but to sum up my role, I’d say Ali’s helper.

In twenty five years, I hope my wife and kids still love me, and that when people talk about Cultivate, they’ll talk about how we changed so many lives and businesses.

Nat Gunter

I grew up in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, where I day-dreamed about becoming an architect, coaching the Crimson Tide and catching a million lightning bugs. T’town was a great place to grow up. Good BBQ, great football and lots and lots of lawyers. I just hope the people there don’t remember when I played Q in my first grade play and sang “I Need U” to Susanna Hamner

Since then, I’ve discovered how to wait tables, how to stop waiting tables, and a passion for wine- for me, wine is the classiest way to let loose. I was psyched to help start Cultivate because I thought I’d get to meet Jimmy Carter, travel and make great and affordable wine (2 out of 3 ain’t bad). We all do a little bit of everything at Cultivate, but to sum up my role I’d say I drink and talk…taste and talk.

In twenty five years, I hope we’re a smarter, healthier, wine-loving country and that when people talk about Cultivate, they’ll talk about that great evening when a bottle of wine made them slow down and enjoy a meal and their company.

Eliza Coleman

I grew up in the South, where I day-dreamed about the day when I would own a shop full of interesting things.  Atlanta was a great place to grow up. Good biscuits, great houses, and lots and lots of beautiful old trees. I just hope the people there don’t remember when I took a dare to be duck-taped to the McDonalds drive-through sign and sing the menu to customers!

Since then, I’ve discovered a re-found love of riding bikes, that saying “I write a blog” never stops sounding nerdy, and a passion for wine- for me, wine is my favorite addition to any gathering of friends. I was psyched to help start Cultivate because I was obsessed with the concept.  We all do a little bit of everything at Cultivate, but to sum up my role, I’d say Minister of Culture.

In twenty five years, I hope we have high-speed rail in America, and that when people talk about Cultivate, they’ll talk about how it has changed the face of the American economy by leading other companies to adopt a socially responsible, for-profit model.

I was psyched to help start Cultivate because of the opportunity to change the world.  We all do a little bit of everything at Cultivate, but to sum up my role, I’d say I sell an experience and make sure everyone has a good time.

I was psyched to help start Cultivate because the opportunities to be creative and make a difference in the world are endless. We all do a little bit of everything at Cultivate, but to sum up my role, I’d say Renaissance Man.

In twenty five years, I hope to be amazed that while we have big dreams, we’ve surpassed them all, and that when people talk about Cultivate, they’ll talk about the fact that we were the ones to inspire the world to believe it’s possible to better your own life while enriching the lives of others!

Mike Rosalina

I grew up in the former home of LeBron James, where I day-dreamed about winning The Masters.  Cleveland was a great place to grow up. Good people, great food and lots and lots of Italians.  I just hope the people there don’t remember when I did something dumb because I live there now!

Since then, I’ve discovered life and love, and a passion for wine- for me, wine is liquid gold. I was psyched to help start Cultivate because I like being able to go to bed at night knowing that I did something good for someone less fortunate than me…….and I thought the people I would be working with were pretty cool too.  We all do a little bit of everything at Cultivate, but to sum up my role, I’d say I handle numbers and logistics.

In twenty five years, I hope I still have a 2 handicap on the golf course and that when people talk about Cultivate, they’ll talk about what a difference we all made.

Katelyn Sandberg

I grew up in “The OC”, and I daydreamed about starting a family band. San Juan Capistrano was a great place to grow up. Good community, great history, and lots and lots of swallows. I just hope the people there don’t remember when I had a door to door lemonade “stand”.

I am excited to be a part of Cultivate because there is good work to be done, and Cultivate is doing it in an exciting way. We all do a little bit of everything at Cultivate, but to sum up my role, I’d say I do whatever I can to create a positive, lasting impression on all who hear about Cultivate.

In twenty five years, I hope to be looking back on an amazing journey, and looking ahead to an ever improving future, and that when people talk about Cultivate, they’ll talk about the lives changed because of giving, the revolution started because of our mission, and the dreams that were realized because of the blending of some grapes.

Ashley Meeker

I am excited to be a part of Cultivate because it provides me the opportunity to make a difference everyday. We all do a little bit of everything at Cultivate, but to sum up my role, I’d say I do my best to maximize “The Give”.

In twenty five years, I hope to look back at everything amazing this team has accomplished, and that when people talk about Cultivate, they’ll talk about the impressions we’ve made and the positive change we’ve attempted to create in this world.
