Urban Roots Benefit

Cultivate is honored to be pouring at an upcoming fundraising event hosted by The Awesome Foundation for the documentary Urban Roots, which follows the urban farming phenomenon in Detroit and calls for farms to be put in schools. We love ideas for creative ways to make our country healthier, and this documentary and movement is getting a lot of attention, including celebrity activists like Leonardo DiCaprio and Baz Luhrmann!

This event, happening on December 3rd in Venica, CA, will raise money to build a garden in Garfield High School in East L.A. Attendants will enjoy performances by Ben Goldwasser, William Close and the Earth Harp, art by Anthony James, and sip on “Tis the Season” and “Wonderlust”.
